I am an avid skier, hiker, road biker and mountain cyclist and came to Vail the summer of 1968 to work my very first job at 16 yrs old at the Arnold Palmer Golf Academy.   I lived in “Poor Richards” in Vail which were cheap rooms with the bathrooms at the end of each hall and was in the location that is now the Austria Haus.    I fell in love with the valley and vowed to come back and I purchased my first home in East Vail in 1983.    I have owned 5 homes in Vail and Beaver Creek over the past 30 + years and know most every hiking/biking trail, ski run,  powder stash, restaurant, and where to go and how to get there.  This is my favorite place in the whole world, and  I love sharing my knowledge with others to enhance their vacation.
